Hi there!
This is my first mail to this mailing list. I hope I'm doing this right.
I'm running a little project at my company to evaluate the current performance of open80211s. You're code and instructions have been very useful and all the things that are supposed to work are working fine. Your work is heavily appreciated.
I have skimmed through this entire mailing list and have found two replies for which I'd like to know whether they are still up-to-date. The first reply is from April 5, 2009. Javier wrote "We've run out of funding for this project, so you won't see implementations [...] coming from us anytime soon." The second one is from July 17, 2008. Luis Carlos wrote "Hi, thanks for your interest in o11s. As the project has been fully integrated in wireless-testing I would recommend you posting this problems at linux-wireless."
My question is: Are the two above statements still up-to-date? Or to be more precise:
1) Are you not developing open80211s any further and will there be no new releases of open80211s in the near future?
2) Does the reply from July 17, 2008 mean, that the development of IEEE 802.11s support for mac80211 is now being continued at linux-wireless?
Thank you for your answers!
Greetings
Thomas
PS: I append the two replies I'm referring to here for completeness:

Hi Thomas,
[...]
We've run out of funding for this project, so you won't see
implementations of 2) and 3) coming from us anytime soon. But we'll
be happy to assist anyone willing to address these shortcomings.
Cheers,
Javier

Hi, thanks for your interest in o11s. As the project has been fully
integrated in wireless-testing I would recommend you posting this
problems at linux-wireless [1].
