Hello.
Currently on Warsaw University of Technology we're working on some
improvement to 802.11s. I'm talking about things like multichannel,
autoconfiguration, auto choosing the best channels to work on. The aim is to
change it in the way that:
- nobody would have to interfere into it (autoconfiguration, choosing best
channels and using them);
- we' ll get some improvements in throughput (multichannel and [again] using
channels with the smallest noise level.
The code is still in very alpha state, but we have some good ideas (and
problems too :/).
For testing we use few types of hardware:
- Linksys WRT54GL
- Magicbox v.2
- Routerboard RB400
I understand that, this is not compatibile with the specification of
802.11s, but it's not what we want to accomplish.
Anybody who would like to make connections with us/ help us/ is courios
about what we're working on/ have some good ideas is welcome :-)
Best Regards
Marcin Tabakiernik
