Machine freeze with o80211s on 2.6.30 kernel

Hi all,
i am actually running a test-mesh network with just 5 nodes, one runs in
monitor mode, all nodes are linux i386 boxes with 2.6.30.5 kernel, latest iw
(0.9.9), atheros wifi card with ath5k drivers compiled into kernel.

After some time working with the mesh, even if running simple ping or ssh,
one ore more mesh node freeze.
No mouse, no keyboard, display is on but machine not responding to any
input.

It is something which never happend when running o80211s on older 2.6.27
kernel and compat wireless.

Are there known bugs with 2.6.30 kernel?

Unfortunately I can't post any error output because the only way to get hand
on a console when the machine freezes is to hard reboot it (i.e. turn off
power and then on again..)
