11s on openwrt

This doen't work as expected. Actually it doesn't work at all :-)
at least for avila (ixp4XX processor) it doesn't compile, you have to 
patch it to do it. Even after the patch, I see that stable kamikaze 
(8.09.1) is equipped with kernel 2.6.26 and compat-wireless-2008-08-06.
This should include at least release 0.2.1 of 11s right?
I was unable to make it work yet.

what I can't understand is that in open11s main page it says that ath5k 
works from version 2.6.29 of the kernel. Does that mean that 
compat-wireless is anyway unusable with versions lower than that? Or, 
whatever kernel I use (>2.6.22), if I get any compat-wireless[-old] I 
can make ath5k and 11s work?
