help to bring up an MPP

I'd like to see proof of the MPP functionality that can bridge data frames to
another Ethernet network.

Ideally, I'd like to see an MPP bridge a open80211s mesh with a wired network
that has access to the internet, such that I could open up firefox and access
Google from one of the mesh devices.

In maybe a smaller version of the same test, I just want to prove that data can
pass from a mesh side of an MPP to the wired side of an MPP.

I've brought up bridges as described in the Howto, but I can't convince myself
that I can pass meaningful data from one side of the bridge to the other...

I'd love to work on a patch that would implement this, if the functionality it
isn't there already. If that's the case, maybe someone could point me in the
right direction in getting started...? I've been poking around the code in
net/mac80211 quite a bit.
