Multicast traffic over mesh network

Regarding multicast I did figured out what was wrong.
Mesh nodes do accept and forward multicast data, receiver and destination
address are both ipv4mcast, but they reduce transmission speed to the
minimun possible (i.e. 1Mb/s). Maybe this is done to allow any node to
receive that traffic..
Given this behaviour no video or music streaming is possible,because of the
low bitrate transmission.

How am I supposed to force a higher bitrate on multicast data frames?
