Routing protocol implementation on 80211s

Hi,
I am running some tests on the mesh i set up (actually six nodes), using
traffic generator (mgen) to get timing parameters on various traffic types.

I was wondering how HWMP routing have been implemented on actual 80211s
release.
Do we have both on demand and proactive mechanism or only on demand one
available?
It seems that routing process (path request-reply message exchange) is
triggered only on data transmission request from upper application, so only
on demand part is working...am I missing anything?

Any idea about when next release will be available and  new function that
will be implemented?
