I've installed Linux Wireless from the tarball rather than git - see here,
where it describes "We have enabled *anti-hotlinking* ":
http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Download
Then, after making / installing the latest (or a select earlier build), I've
simply rebooted the machine for a clean start.
I've been running with various versions of Ubuntu / Jaunty on test machines.
So I'm typically wiping clean the machine and reinstalling from scratch
(rather than weaving in changes to a working machine that may have other
dependencies.)
Hope this helps or provides an alternative working approach,
Brian
