No subject

Hi,
I've been trying to set up an 80211s network  ( between just 2 nodes inially ).I have followed  the howto at http://www.open80211s.org/trac/wiki/HOWTO. However when I run " iw dev wlan0 interface add mesh type mp mesh_id mymesh " , I got an error "failed to create interface : -19".
Note that I'm using ubuntu 8.10 and  I'm testing with an Airlink USB module. Could anyone help me ?
