Yes, you can use IPv6.

Not implemented.  The mesh station dump command only shows mesh peers
in the mesh your are in.
Right now the only way you can detect mesh networks is by sniffing and
searching for mesh beacons.

In o11s they are always unencrypted but 802.11s supports
authentication and encryption.  See

We've run out of funding for this project, so you won't see
implementations of 2) and 3) coming from us anytime soon.  But we'll
be happy to assist anyone willing to address these shortcomings.
