Honestly, your question is basic stuff about kernel development, and
this list is not the place to ask this questions. There are many
resources on the web that would answer your question, and someone on
olpc mailing lists already pointed you to a specific web describing how
to do this for OLPC.

Besides that, if you just take o11s kernel (from o11s.org I assume) and
put it on an OLPC it just won't work, since it lacks necessary
OLPC-specific patches. If you want to try out o11s on an OLPC you should
take OLPC kernel and use compat-wireless to compile the latest mac80211
from wireless-testing about it. There is enough information on the web
about how to do this too. I also assume you plan to use a supported USB
dongle on the XO, since the integrated card is not supported.

I really appreciate your interest in o11s and I encourage you to keep
experimenting with it, but you should avoid asking questions whose
answers are easily available on the Internet. If you do some research
using any search engine you will either find what you need or at least
find enough information to make your question more specific. If you ask
good questions you will certainly get good answers.

If you have any specific problem with o11s, I will be glad to help.

Regards and good luck!
